Mukhtasar Bukhari

´Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) says that` the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was of medium stature, neither very tall nor very short. His complexion was fair with a reddish tinge, not completely white (like lime), nor very wheatish (yellowish), but rather reddish-white. His hair was neither very curly nor completely straight. Revelation descended upon him at the age of forty. He (peace be upon him) stayed in Makkah for ten years. Revelation (the Qur'an) continued to descend, and he stayed in Madinah for ten years. At the time of his passing, there were not even twenty white hairs in his blessed head and beard. (Note: The Arabs sometimes count in tens and leave out the units, although the Prophet (peace be upon him) stayed in Makkah for thirteen years after prophethood.)
