Mukhtasar Bukhari

Narrated from Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him): He was asked, "What have you heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about the plague?" Sayyiduna Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The plague is a punishment that was sent upon a group from the Children of Israel, or (he said) upon people before you (the narrator is unsure). So when you hear that it has broken out in a land, do not go there, and when it breaks out in the land where you are, do not leave from there with the intention of fleeing."
