Narrated by Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): He said, "No child spoke in the cradle except for three children: one was Jesus (peace be upon him), the second was a man named Jurayj among the Children of Israel. He was praying when his mother came and called him. He thought to himself, 'Should I continue praying or respond to my mother?' (He did not respond.) His mother said, 'O Allah! Do not let him die until he sees the faces of immoral women (and has to deal with them).' Then it happened that Jurayj was in his place of worship when a (prostitute) woman came and wanted to commit adultery with him, but Jurayj refused. Then she went to a shepherd, committed adultery with him, and gave birth to a boy. People asked her, 'Where did you get this boy from?' She said, 'He is from Jurayj.' Hearing this, people became very angry, saying, 'How could such a devout man commit adultery?' They came and destroyed his place of worship, brought him down, and insulted him. Jurayj performed ablution, prayed, then came to the child (who was born) and asked him, 'Who is your father?' The child (spoke at such a young age and) said, 'My father is so-and-so, the shepherd.' Seeing this, the people were ashamed and said to Jurayj, 'We will rebuild your place of worship with gold.' He said, 'No, build it with mud.' The third was a woman among the Children of Israel who was breastfeeding her child. A very handsome, well-dressed rider passed by. The woman, seeing him, said, 'O Allah! Make my son like this rider.' Upon hearing this, the child left his mother's breast, turned towards the rider, and said, 'O Allah! Do not make me like him.' After saying this, he started suckling his mother's breast again." Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "It is as if I am seeing the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) at that moment, showing with his finger how the child started suckling the breast." Then a slave girl passed by (whom people were beating). The woman said, 'O Allah! Do not make my son like her.' Hearing this, the child again left the breast and said, 'O Allah! Make me like this slave girl.' At that moment, the woman asked her child, 'What is this matter? (Why do you not want to be like the handsome rider, but want to be like this humiliated slave girl?)' He said, 'This rider who passed by is a tyrant among the oppressors, and this slave girl (is innocent); people are falsely accusing her, saying she has stolen, committed adultery, but she has done nothing.'"
