Mukhtasar Bukhari

A person said to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him), "Can you show me how the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to perform ablution?" Abdullah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Yes, I can show you." Then he called for water and poured it on his hand, then washed his hands twice, then rinsed his mouth three times and put water into his nose and blew it out, then washed his face three times, then washed both his hands up to the elbows twice, then wiped his head with both his hands, that is, he brought them forward and then back. He started from the front part of the head and took both hands to the nape, then brought them back to where he had started. Then he washed both his feet.
