Mukhtasar Bukhari

Sayyiduna Salamah bin Akwa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by some people of the tribe of Aslam who were practicing archery. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “O sons of Isma’il! Shoot arrows, for your ancestor was an archer. And I am with this group (the sons of so-and-so).” Upon hearing this, the other group stopped shooting (ceased archery). The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) asked: “Why are you not shooting?” They replied, “O Messenger of Allah! How can we compete when you have sided with them?” The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Shoot, for I am with all of you.”
