Hadith 1410

Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he said: "Ibrahim (peace be upon him) will meet his father Azar on the Day of Resurrection, and Azar's face will be dark and covered with dust. Ibrahim (peace be upon him) will say to him: 'Did I not tell you (in the world) not to disobey me?' His father will say: 'Today I will not disobey you.' Then Ibrahim (peace be upon him) will say: 'O my Lord! You promised me that You would not disgrace me on the Day of Resurrection, so what disgrace could be greater than that my father is (disgraced and) far from Your mercy?' Allah the Exalted will say: 'I have made Paradise forbidden for the disbelievers.' Then it will be said: 'O Ibrahim! Look at what is beneath your feet.' He will look and see a hyena covered in filth, then it will be seized by its legs and thrown into Hellfire (meaning his father will be turned into a hyena)."
