Hadith 1368

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that (regarding Surah An-Najm, verse: 18) "Indeed, he saw of the greatest signs of his Lord." (The meaning is that) the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw a green carpet which covered the edges of the sky. (Upon it was Jibreel (peace be upon him) sitting, or it was on his wings.)
