Mukhtasar Bukhari

`Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with them)` explains the meaning of this verse: "Then he drew near, and came closer, till he was at a distance of two bow-lengths or even nearer. So He revealed to His servant what He revealed." That the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw Jibreel (Gabriel) (peace be upon him) in his original form; he had six hundred wings. (Surah An-Najm: 9-10)
