Hadith 1333

Sayyiduna Jubair bin Mut’im (may Allah be pleased with him) says that while he was with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and with him were those people who were returning from Hunain, the Bedouins began to ask the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) for things, until they pushed him towards a thorny tree, so much so that his cloak got caught in it. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up and said: “Give me my cloak. If I had as many camels as these trees, I would distribute them among you, and you would never find me miserly, a liar, or faint-hearted.”
