Hadith 1316

´Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) says that` we were with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) while returning from Usfan, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was riding his camel, and Umm al-Mu'mineen Safiyyah bint Huyayy (may Allah be pleased with her) was seated behind him. Then the foot of the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) camel slipped, and both of them fell down. So Sayyiduna Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) quickly jumped down (from his camel) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! May Allah sacrifice me for you (did you get hurt)?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Take care of the woman." So Sayyiduna Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) covered his face with a cloth and went to Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her), covered her with a sheet, and set the mount right. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and Umm al-Mu'mineen Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) mounted, and we surrounded the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). After that, when we approached Madinah, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "We are returning, if Allah wills, repentant, worshipping, and praising our Lord." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) kept saying this until we reached Madinah.
