Mukhtasar Bukhari

Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent us in a military expedition and said to us: "If you find so-and-so and so-and-so (he mentioned the names of two men from the Quraysh), then burn them with fire." Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Then when we were about to depart on the journey, we came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to bid him farewell, and he said: "I had ordered you to burn so-and-so and so-and-so with fire, but none punishes with fire except Allah. Therefore, if you capture them, kill them."
