Mukhtasar Bukhari

Lady Asma bint Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with her) says that during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), my mother came to me and she was a polytheist. (I neither allowed her to enter the house nor accepted her gift.) After that, I sought a verdict from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). I also said that my mother has come to me with affection, so should I treat my mother well? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Yes, treat your mother well."
