Mukhtasar Bukhari

Narrated from Sayyiduna Nu’man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: My father gave me something, so (my mother) Amrah bint Rawahah said that I am not pleased until you make the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) a witness to this. So he went to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and submitted: I have given something to my son who is from Amrah bint Rawahah, but Amrah (my wife) said that I should make the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) a witness to it. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked: “Have you given the same to all your sons?” He replied: No. So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Fear Allah and be just among your children.” (Nu’man, may Allah be pleased with him, says that) then he took back what he had given.
