Hadith 114

Narrated Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) departed from ‘Arafah, and when he reached the valley, he dismounted and urinated, then performed ablution, but did not complete the ablution. So I said, “O Messenger of Allah! (The time for) prayer is near.” He (peace be upon him) said, “The prayer is ahead of you (i.e., we will pray in Muzdalifah).” When he reached Muzdalifah, he dismounted and performed complete ablution. Then the call for the establishment of prayer (iqamah) was given, and he (peace be upon him) led the Maghrib prayer. After that, everyone made their camels kneel at their places. Then the iqamah for the ‘Isha prayer was given, and he (peace be upon him) led the prayer, and he did not pray any (optional) prayer between the two.
