Mukhtasar Bukhari

Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say: I found a pouch in which there were one hundred gold coins. So I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and informed him. He (peace be upon him) said: "Announce it to the people for one year." So I inquired, but I did not find anyone who recognized it. Then I came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) again. He (peace be upon him) said: "Announce it to the people for another year." So I inquired, but no one was found. Then I came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) a third time, and he (peace be upon him) said: "Remember its appearance, its count, and its tying. If its owner comes (then give it to him), otherwise use it yourself."
