Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was once describing something, and at that time a man from a village was sitting with him: "A person from among the people of Paradise will ask his Lord for permission to cultivate the land, so Allah Almighty will say to him, 'Are you not happy with the state you are in?' He will reply, 'Yes, I am happy, but I wish to cultivate.'" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Then he will sow the seeds, and their growing, increasing, and harvesting will all happen before the blink of an eye, and the heaps of its produce will be as large as mountains. Then Allah Almighty will say, 'O son of Adam! You are never satisfied with anything.'" At this, the Bedouin said, "O Messenger of Allah! You will find such a person among the Quraysh or the Ansar, because they are the ones who are farmers, and we are not farmers." Upon this, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) smiled.
