Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that Hind, the mother of Sayyiduna Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him), said to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that Abu Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) is a miserly man, so is there any sin upon me if I take something from his wealth secretly? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "You and your son may take as much as is sufficient for you according to custom." (The limit of what is customary was not specified so that it remains general, and due to this general specification, this narration is included under this chapter.)
