Giving the Eid sermon on a bow and the Friday sermon on a staff
Hadith 1196
وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " كَانَ إِذَا خَطَبَ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ خَطَبَ عَلَى قَوْسٍ ، وَإِذَا خَطَبَ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ خَطَبَ عَلَى عَصًا "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) with the same chain that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would deliver the sermon of the two Eids while holding a bow, and would deliver the Friday sermon while holding a staff.
