كتاب المرضيٰBook of the Sick
Reciting ruqyah by placing the hand on the afflicted part
Hadith 1143
حَدَّثَنَا طَالِبُ بْنُ قُرَّةَ الأَذَنِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى الطَّبَّاعُ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "إِذَا اشْتَكَى أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَضَعْ يَدَهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ الْوَجَعِ ، ثُمَّ لِيَقُلْ : بِسْمِ اللَّهِ ، وَبِاللَّهِ أَعُوذُ بِعِزَّةِ اللَّهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ وَجَعِي هَذَا "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، إِلا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ ابْنُ الطَّبَّاعِ
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any of you is ill, he should place his hand on the area of pain and say: «بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ وَبِاللّٰهِ أَعُوذُ بِعِزَّةِ اللّٰهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ وَجَعِي هٰذَا» "With the name of Allah and with Allah, I seek refuge in the honor and power of Allah Almighty from this pain which I am feeling."
