Hadith 1131
حَدَّثَنَا وَافِدُ بْنُ مُوسَى الدَّارِعُ ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا خُلَيْدُ بْنُ دَعْلَجٍ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، "مَنْ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ يَقُومُ بِهِ أَنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ يُحِلُّ حَلالَهُ وَيُحَرِّمُ حَرَامَهُ حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ لَحْمَهُ وَدَمَهُ عَلَى النَّارِ ، وَجَعَلَهُ رَفِيقَ السَّفَرَةِ الْكِرَامِ الْبَرَرَةِ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ كَانَ الْقُرْآنُ لَهُ حُجَّةً "
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever recites the Qur’an and stands with it (in prayer) during the nights and days, and considers its lawful things as lawful and its unlawful things as unlawful, then Allah makes his flesh forbidden to the Fire (of Hell), and grants him the company of the noble, righteous angels. Then, when the Day of Resurrection is established, the Noble Qur’an will serve as an argument on his behalf.”
