Hadith 1091
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ الْقَطِيعِيُّ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ الْعَمِّيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عِيسَى الْخَزَّازُ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، أَنَّ رَجُلا جَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَعَهُ أَخُوهُ قَدْ سُقِيَ بَطْنُهُ ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، " إِنَّ أَخِي قَدْ سُقِيَ بَطْنُهُ ، فَأَتَيْتُ الأَطِبَّاءَ ، فَأَمَرُونِي بِالْكَيِّ ، أَفَأَكْوِيهُ ؟ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : لا تَكْوِهِ ، وَرُدَّهُ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ ، فَمَرَّ بِهِ بَعِيرٌ ، فَضَرَبَ بَطْنَهُ ، فَانْخَمَصَ ، فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : أَمَا إِنَّكَ لَوْ أَتَيْتَ بِهِ الأَطِبَّاءَ ، قُلْتَ : النَّارُ شَفَتْهُ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ يُونُسَ ، إِلا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ عُقْبَةُ
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) reports: A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and his brother was with him. He said: O Messenger of Allah! Water has accumulated in my brother’s stomach. I went to the doctors and they told me to cauterize him. Should I cauterize him? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “No! Take him back home.” Then a camel passed by and struck his stomach, so it shrank. He then came back to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “If you had gone to the doctors, you would have started saying that fire cured him.”
