Hadith 1090
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدُوسَ الأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَامِرِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنَا النُّعْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ السَّلامِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ مِغْوَلٍ ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلاقَةَ ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ ، قَالَ : " شَهِدْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَتَاهُ نَاسٌ مِنَ الأَعْرَابِ ، فَجَعَلُوا يَسْأَلُونَهُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ ، يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، هَلْ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ حَرَجٍ فِي كَذَا ؟ هَلْ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ حَرَجٍ فِي كَذَا ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : وَضَعَ اللَّهُ الْحَرَجَ إِلا امْرَأً اقْتَرَضَ امْرَأً مُسْلِمًا ظُلْمًا فَذَاكَ الَّذِي حَرَجَ وَهَلَكَ ، قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَنَتَدَاوَى مِنْ كَذَا ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : تَدَاوَوْا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَمْ يُنْزِلْ دَاءً إِلا أنزل لَهُ شِفَاءً غَيْرَ دَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ : الْهَرَمُ ، قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، فَمَا خَيْرُ مَا أُعْطِيَ الإِنْسَانُ ؟ ، فَقَالَ : خُلُقٌ حَسَنٌ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، إِلا النُّعْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ السَّلامِ
Sayyiduna Usama bin Sharik (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I was present with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when some people from the villages came to him. They were asking him from his right and left: O Messenger of Allah! Is there any harm in doing such and such? Is there any harm in doing such and such? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty has forgiven all hardships, except for the one who takes a loan from a Muslim man unjustly; in that there will be harm upon him and he will be destroyed." They said: Can we seek treatment with such and such thing? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O servants of Allah! Seek treatment, for Allah Almighty has not sent down any disease except that He has also sent down its cure, except for one disease, that is old age." They said: O Messenger of Allah! Out of all that has been given to man, what is the best thing? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Good character."
