Hadith 1061
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو ذَرٍّ هَارُونُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْمِصْرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ الْكُوفِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "إِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِعَبْدٍ شَرًّا خَضَّرَ لَهُ فِي اللَّبِنِ وَالطِّينِ حَتَّى يَبْنِي "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، إِلا الْمُحَارِبِيُّ ، وَلا عَنْهُ إِلا يُوسُفُ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ أَبُو ذَرٍّ هَارُونُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When Allah Almighty intends evil for a servant, He creates blessing for him in bricks and clay, until he begins construction work in it."
