Hadith 1059
حَدَّثَنَا نُوحٌ الأُبُلِّيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَشْعَثِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ الْعِجْلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَصْرَمُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا قُرَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ مُزَاحِمٍ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ فَرَضَ فَرَائِضَ فَلا تُضَيِّعُوهَا ، وَحَّدَ حُدُودًا فَلا تَعْتَدُوهَا ، وَسَكَتَ عَنْ كَثِيرٍ مِنْ غَيْرِ نِسْيَانٍ فَلا تَتَكَلَّفُوهَا رَحْمَةً مِنَ اللَّهِ فَاقْبَلُوهَا "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ قُرَّةَ ، إِلا أَصْرَمُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ
Sayyiduna Abu Darda’ (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: “Allah Almighty has prescribed some obligations, do not neglect them, and has set some limits, do not transgress them, and has remained silent about many things without forgetting, so do not burden yourselves concerning them. This is Allah’s mercy, so accept it.”
