Hadith 1050
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أَبُو صَالِحٍ الْوَزَّانُ الأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْفُرَاتِ الرَّازِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنِ الصَّلْتِ بْنِ بَهْرَامَ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "مَا اخْتَلَجَ عِرْقٌ وَلا عَيْنٌ إِلا بِذَنْبٍ ، وَمَا يَدْفَعُ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَكْثَرُ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنِ الصَّلْتِ ، إِلا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ، وَلا عَنْهُ إِلا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْفُرَاتٍ
Sayyiduna Bara’ bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “There is no vein or eye except that it is restless due to sin, and the calamities that Allah withholds are more than those that befall.”
