Hadith 1045
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمِّي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَامِرُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ أَبُو حَمْزَةَ ، عَنْ حَمْزَةَ الزَّيَّاتِ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ الطَّائِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "كُلُّكُمْ يُكَلِّمُهُ رَبُّهُ لَيْسَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهُ تُرْجُمَانٌ ، فَيَنْظُرُ إِلَى يَمِينِهِ فَيَرَى مَا قَدَّمَ ، وَيَنْظُرُ إِلَى شِمَالِهِ فَيَرَى مَا قَدَّمَ ، وَإِلَى أَمَامِهِ فَإِذَا هُوَ بِالنَّارِ ، فَاتَّقُوا النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ حَمْزَةَ ، إِلا زِيَادٌ أَبُو حَمْزَةَ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ عَامِرُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ
Sayyiduna ‘Adi bin Hatim Ta’i (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Each one of you will speak to Allah, with no interpreter between him and Allah. He will look to his right and see only his deeds, and he will look to his left and see only his deeds. He will look ahead and see the Fire facing him. So protect yourselves from the Fire, even if it be with half a date.”
