Hadith 1011
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الصِّنَامِ الرَّمْلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ الْفَاخُورِيُّ الرَّمْلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَرْطَاةَ بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَامِرٍ الأَلْهَانِيِّ ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "لأُلْفِيَّنَ أَقْوَامًا مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَأْتُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِحَسَنَاتٍ أَمْثَالِ جِبَالِ تِهَامَةَ فَيَجْعَلُهَا اللَّهُ هَبَاءً مَنْثُورًا ، فَقَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، صِفْهُمْ لَنَا لِكَيْ لا نَكُونُ مِنْهُمْ ، وَنَحْنُ لا نَعْلَمُ ، فَقَالَ : أَمَا إِنَّهُمْ مِنْ إِخْوَانِكُمْ ، وَلَكِنَّهُمْ أَقْوَامٌ إِذَا خَلَوْا بِمَحَارِمِ اللَّهِ انْتَهَكُوهَا "، لا يُرْوَى عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ ، إِلا بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ عُقْبَةُ ، وَاسْمُ أَبِي عَامِرٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، وَيُقَالُ : عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَحْيَى
Sayyiduna Thawban, may Allah be pleased with him, who was a servant of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I do not wish for people from my Ummah who will come on the Day of Resurrection with good deeds like the mountains of Tihamah, and Allah Almighty will make those good deeds scattered dust." The Companions said: O Messenger of Allah! Tell us who they are, so that we do not become like them while we do not know? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "They are from among your brothers, they are such people that when they are alone, they commit what Allah has forbidden."
