Hadith 966
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) reports: A man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! Advise me. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I advise you to fear Allah and be pious, for it includes all good deeds. And strive in the path of Allah, for it is the monasticism of the Muslims. And make the remembrance of Allah obligatory upon yourself, and also the recitation of the Noble Qur'an, for it will be a light for you on the earth and your name will be mentioned in the heavens. And restrain your tongue from everything except good, for in this way you will overcome Satan."
