Description of the mounts of the Prophets and Companions on the Day of Judgment
Hadith 909
حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ يُونُسَ الْقَصَّارُ الْمِصْرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو صَالِحٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ الْقُرَظِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "يُحْشَرُ الأَنْبِيَاءُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَى الدَّوَابِّ لِيُوَافُوا مِنْ قُبُورِهِمُ الْمَحْشَرَ ، وَيُبْعَثُ صَالِحٌ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ عَلَى نَاقَتِهِ ، وَيُبْعَثُ ابْنَايَ الْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ عَلَى نَاقَتِي الْعَضْبَاءِ ، وَأُبْعَثُ عَلَى الْبُرَاقِ خَطْوُهَا عِنْدَ أَقْصَى طَرَفِهَا ، وَيُبْعَثُ بِلالٌ عَلَى نَاقَةٍ مِنْ نُوقِ الْجَنَّةِ ، فَيُنَادِي بِالأَذَانِ مَحْضًا ، وَبِالشَّهَادَةِ حَقًّا حَقًّا ، حَتَّى إِذَا قَالَ : أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ، شَهِدَ لَهُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ مِنَ الأَوَّلِينَ وَالآخِرِينَ ، فَقُبِلَتْ مِمَّنْ قُبِلَتْ وَرُدَّتْ عَلَى مَنْ رُدَّتْ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، إِلا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ . تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ أَبُو صَالِحٍ ، وَلا يُرْوَى عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، إِلا بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection, the Prophets will be gathered on riding animals so that they may come from their graves to the plain of gathering. Salih (peace be upon him) will be mounted on a she-camel, my sons Hasan and Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them both) will ride on my she-camel ‘Adba’, and I will be raised on Buraq, whose one stride will reach as far as its sight extends. Bilal will be on one of the camels of Paradise; he will call the Adhan purely and will truthfully proclaim the words of testimony. When he says «أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللّٰهِ», all the believers, former and latter, will bear witness for him, so for whom it is accepted, it will be accepted, and from whom it is rejected, it will be rejected."
