Description of the greatness of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)
Hadith 897
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْفَرَجِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفَزَارِيُّ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "مِنْ كَرَامَتِي عَلَى رَبِّي عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَنِّي وُلِدْتُ مَخْتُونًا ، وَلَمْ يَرَ أَحَدٌ سَوْأَتِي "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ يُونُسَ ، إِلا هُشَيْمٌ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفَزَارِيُّ
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "My honor with Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, is such that when I was born, I was already circumcised, and no one has ever seen my nakedness."
