Hadith 891
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ الْكِلابِيُّ أَبُو مُلَيْلٍ الْكُوفِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي حَمَّادٍ الْمُقْرِئُ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ الصَّائِغِ ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : "إِنَّمَا مثل أَهْلِ بَيْتِي كَمَثَلِ سَفِينَةِ نُوحٍ مَنْ رَكِبَهَا نَجَا وَمَنْ تَخَلَّفَ عَنْهَا غَرِقَ ، وَإِنَّمَا مثل أَهْلِ بَيْتِي مثل بَابِ حِطَّةٍ فِي بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مَنْ دَخَلَهُ غُفِرَ لَهُ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، إِلا ابْنُ أَبِي حَمَّادٍ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ
Sayyiduna Abu Sa‘id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: “The example of my Ahl al-Bayt is like the Ark of Noah; whoever boarded it was saved, and whoever remained behind was drowned. And the example of my Ahl al-Bayt among you is like the Gate of Hittah among the Children of Israel; whoever entered it had his sins forgiven.”
