Hadith 889
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ أَبُو حُصَيْنٍ الْقَاضِي ، حَدَّثَنَا عَوْنُ بْنُ سَلامٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَتْ لِي أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ : "أَيُسَبّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فِيكُمْ عَلَى رُءُوسِ النَّاسِ ؟ ، فَقُلْتُ : سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ ، وَأَنَّى يُسَبُّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ ، فَقَالَتْ : أَلَيْسَ يُسَبُّ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ وَمَنْ يُحِبُّهُ ، فَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُحِبُّهُ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ ، إِلا عِيسَى
Lady Umm Salamah, may Allah be pleased with her, says: Is your Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, being reviled? Abu Abdullah Jadali said: I said: Glory be to Allah! How can this be, how can he, peace and blessings be upon him, be reviled? Lady Umm Salamah, may Allah be pleased with her, said: Is not Sayyiduna Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, being reviled, and also the one who loves him? I bear witness that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, loved him.
Hadith 890
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ الْكُوفِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ حَمَّادِ أَبُو الْحَارِثِ الْوَرَّاقُ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الأَنْصَارِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ لِعَلِيٍّ كَرَّمَ اللَّهُ وَجْهَهَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ : "أَنْتَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَى ، إِلا أَنَّهُ لا نَبِيَّ بَعْدِي "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، إِلا نَصْرٌ
Sayyiduna Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): “You are to me as Harun (peace be upon him) was to Musa (peace be upon him), except that there will be no prophet after me.”
