Hadith 863
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ أَبِي دَاوُدَ ، عَنِ الْهَيْثَمِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ الصَّيْرَفِيِّ ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ الْعَوْفِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ أَهْلَ الدَّرَجَاتِ الْعُلا لَيَرَاهُمْ مَنْ هُوَ أَسْفَلُ مِنْهُمْ كَمَا تَرَوْنَ الْكَوْكَبَ الدُّرِّيَّ فِي أُفُقِ السَّمَاءِ ، وَإِنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ لَمِنْهُمْ وَأَنْعَمَا "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنِ الْهَيْثَمِ ، إِلا حَفْصُ بْنُ أَبِي دَاوُدَ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Those of lower ranks will look at those of higher ranks (in Paradise) just as you see the stars on the horizons of the sky, and Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) will be among them and will be in a very excellent position."
