Hadith 824
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ الْمَقْدِسِيُّ الْخَيَّاطُ ، بِبَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ سَنَةَ أَرْبَعٍ وَسَبْعِينَ وَمِائَتَيْنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ التِّنِّيسِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّمِيمِيُّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ أَبِي النَّضْرِ ، مَوْلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَعْمَرٍ التَّيْمِيِّ ، وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ بْنِ أَبِي مُوسَى ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : "أُمَّتِي أُمَّةٌ مَرْحُومَةٌ ، جَعَلَ اللَّهُ عَذَابَهَا بِأَيْدِيهَا ، فَإِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ دُفِعَ إِلَى كُلِّ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ رَجُل مِنْ أَهْلِ الأَدْيَانِ ، فَكَانَ فِدَاءَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، وَابْنِ خُثَيْمٍ ، إِلا زُهَيْرٌ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ عَمْرٌو
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "My Ummah is a blessed Ummah; Allah the Exalted has made its punishment in its own hands. When the Day of Resurrection comes, for every Muslim a man from the people of other religions will be given, who will become a ransom for him from Hell."
