Hadith 792
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْبَكْرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ طَحْلاءَ الْمَدِينِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا بِلالُ بْنُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ "أُتِيَ بِصَحْفَةٍ تَفُورُ ، فَرَفَعَ يَدَهُ مِنْهَا ، فَقَالَ : اللَّهُمَّ لا تُطْعِمْنَا نَارًا ، إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمْ يُطْعِمْنَا نَارًا "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ بِلالِ بْنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، إِلا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، وَلا عَنْهُ إِلا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ . تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ هِشَامٌ ، وَبِلالٌ قَلِيلُ الرِّوَايَةِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: A wide vessel was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) which was boiling, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) withdrew his hand from it and supplicated: "O Allah! Do not make us eat fire, surely Allah has not made us eat fire."
Hadith 793
فَأَمَّا حَدِيثُ قُطْبَةَ فَحَدَّثَنَاهُ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدَّلالُ الْكُوفِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا قُطْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، مِثْلَهُ .
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a similar manner through another chain of narration.
Hadith 794
أَمَّا حَدِيثُ أَبِي الْجَحَّافِ فَحَدَّثَنَاهُ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الأَسْفَاطِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَرْعَرَةَ بْنِ الْبِرِنْدِ السَّامِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الذِّمَارِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْجَحَّافِ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، مِثْلَهُ .
