Hadith 790
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الأَزْرَقِ الأَنْطَاكِيُّ ، بِأَنْطَاكِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنَا مُبَشِّرُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، عَنْ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ ، عَنِ الْعَلاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "مِنِ اقْتِرَابِ السَّاعَةِ انْتِفَاخُ الأَهِلَّةِ ، وَأَنْ يُرَى الْهِلالُ لِلَيْلَةٍ ، فَيُقَالُ : هُوَ ابْنُ لَيْلَتَيْنِ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنِ الْعَلاءِ ، إِلا شُعَيْبٌ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ مُبَشِّرٌ
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A sign of the nearness of the Hour is that the moon will swell, and a one-night-old moon will be seen and it will be said that it is two nights old."
