Hadith 781
حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَرَجِ أَبُو يَعْلَى الرُّخَّجِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْقَطَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا مِهْرَانُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ ، عَنْ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ الْقِتْبَانِيِّ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَمِقِ ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "مَنْ آمَنَ رَجُلا عَلَى دَمِهِ فَقَتَلَهُ فَأَنَا بَرِيءٌ مِنَ الْقَاتِلِ ، وَإِنْ كَانَ الْمَقْتُولُ كَافِرًا "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى ، إِلا مِهْرَانُ الرَّازِيُّ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ يُوسُفُ
Sayyiduna Amr bin al-Hamq (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever considers someone trustworthy regarding his blood, but then that person kills him, then I am free from that killer, even if the slain was a disbeliever."
