Hadith 749
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْحَلَبِيُّ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، بِحَلَبَ سَنَةَ ثَمَانٍ وَسَبْعِينَ وَمِائَتَيْنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يُونُسَ الأَفْطَسُ ، أَخُو أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ الْمُسْتَمْلِي ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلالٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : "إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ دَعَا اللَّهُ عَبْدًا مِنْ عَبِيدِهِ ، فَيُوقَفُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ ، فَيَسْأَلُهُ عَنْ جَاهِهِ كَمَا يَسْأَلُهُ عَنْ مَالِهِ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، إِلا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلالٍ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ يُوسُفُ بْنُ يُونُسَ
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "On the Day of Resurrection, Allah Almighty will call one of His servants and make him stand before Him, and He will ask him about his status just as He will ask him about his wealth."
