Explanation of the virtue of covering your brother’s private parts
Hadith 736
حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى الطَّبَّاعُ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ إِلْيَاسَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : "مَنْ رَأَى مِنْ أَخِيهِ عَوْرَةً فَسَتَرَهَا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ "، لا يُرْوَى عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، إِلا بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ خَالِدُ بْنُ إِلْيَاسَ
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever saw the private part of his brother and then concealed it, he will enter Paradise."
