Hadith 731
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْقَاضِي الْبَرَكَاتِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا نُوحُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عِمْرَانَ الْحُدَّانِيُّ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الأَحْوَلِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَرْجِسَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "الْهَدْيُ الصَّالِحُ ، وَالسَّمْتُ الصَّالِحُ ، وَالاقْتِصَادُ ، وَالتُّؤَدَةُ جُزْءٌ مِنْ أَرْبَعَةٍ وَعِشْرِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، إِلا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ نُوحُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Sarjis (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Good guidance, good character, moderation, and calmness are one part out of the twenty-four parts of Prophethood."
