Hadith 693
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Be shy before Allah as is His due." The people said, "O Messenger of Allah! All praise is due to Allah, we are shy before Allah." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is truly shy before Allah as is His due, let him protect his head and what it contains, and his stomach and what it holds, and let him remember death and decay. And whoever intends the Hereafter, he abandons the adornment of the world. Whoever does this has truly been shy before Allah as is His due."
