Hadith 574
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ دَاوُدَ الْمِصْرِيُّ مَأْمُونٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ زُغْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلانَ ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : "لا يَجْتَمِعَانِ فِي النَّارِ اجْتِمَاعًا يَضُرُّ أَحَدُهُمَا صَاحِبَهُ ، مُسْلِمٌ قَتَلَ كَافِرًا ثُمَّ سَدَّدَ الْمُسْلِمُ وَقَارَبَ ، وَلا يَجْتَمِعَانِ فِي جَوْفِ مُؤْمِنٍ غُبَارٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَفَيْحُ جَهَنَّمَ ، وَلا يَجْتَمِعَانِ فِي جَوْفِ مُؤْمِنٍ الإِيمَانُ وَالْحَسَدُ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلانَ ، إِلا اللَّيْثُ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two men will not be together in Hell; one of them is the one who harms the other, and one is the Muslim who killed a disbeliever and then remained steadfast as a Muslim. And near Allah, two things cannot be gathered in the belly of a believer: the dust from the path of Allah and the steam of Hell. And in the heart of a believer, faith and envy cannot be gathered together."
