Description of entering Paradise and prohibition of fasting during the days of Tashreeq
Hadith 424
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْبَرَبْهَارِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَابِقٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " بَعَثَهُ وَأَوْسَ بْنَ الْحَدَثَانِ فِي أَيَّامِ التَّشْرِيقِ ، فَنَادَى أَنَّهُ لا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ إِلا نَفْسٌ مُؤْمِنَةٌ ، وَأَيَّامُ مِنًى أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ "، لا يُرْوَى عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، إِلا بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ
Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) reports: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent him and Sayyiduna Aws bin Hadthan (may Allah be pleased with him) during the days of Tashreeq, so they called out loudly: No one except a believer in the Oneness of Allah can enter Paradise, and the days of Mina are days of eating and drinking.
