Hadith 422
Sayyiduna Jarud Abdi رضي الله عنه says: We were with the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم and mounts were few, so we mentioned what would suffice us in terms of mounts. I said: Let us go to the camels at night, then benefit from them for riding. The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "The lost property of a Muslim is the fire of Hell."
Hadith 423
Sayyiduna Jarud Abu al-Munzir al-Qandi رضي الله عنه reports: The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "When you find a lost item, do not conceal it, nor hide it. If it is recognized, return it to its owner; otherwise, Allah gives His wealth to whom He wills."
