Description of three rulings for the group of noble Prophets
Hadith 372
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ الْمَكِّيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ الْقَدَّاحُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَجِيدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّا مَعْشَرَ الأَنْبِيَاءِ أُمِرْنَا بِثَلاثٍ : بِتَعْجِيلِ الْفِطْرِ ، وَتَأْخِيرِ السَّحُورِ ، وَوَضْعِ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى الْيُسْرَى فِي الصَّلاةِ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، إِلا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ ، وَلا عَنْهُ إِلا ابْنُهُ عَبْدُ الْمَجِيدِ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “We, the group of Prophets, have been commanded with three things: to hasten in breaking the fast, to delay the pre-dawn meal (suhoor), and to place the right (hand) over the left in prayer.”
