Description of Allah’s love and mercy
Hadith 363
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا مَسْلَمَةُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ اللَّخْمِيُّ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُنَبِّهُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَضِينُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ مَحْفُوظِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَائِذٍ ، أَنَّ شُرَحْبِيلَ بْنَ السِّمْطِ ، قَالَ لِعَمْرِو بْنِ عَبَسَةَ : هَلْ أَنْتَ مُحَدِّثِي حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ ، قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى : حَقَّتْ مَحَبَّتِي لِلَّذِينَ يَتَصَادَقُونَ مِنْ أَجْلِي ، وَحَقَّتْ مَحَبَّتِي لِلَّذِينَ يَتَنَاصَرُونَ مِنْ أَجْلِي ، وَمَا مِنْ مُؤْمِنٍ وَلا مُؤْمِنَةٌ يُقَدِّمُ اللَّهُ لَهُ ثَلاثَةَ أَوْلادٍ مِنْ صُلْبِهِ ، لَمْ يَبْلُغُوا الْحِنْثَ إِلا أَدْخَلَهُ اللَّهُ الْجَنَّةَ بِفَضْلِ رَحْمَتِهِ إِيَّاهُمْ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنِ الْوَضِينِ ، إِلا مُنَبِّهٌ
Sayyiduna Amr bin Abasah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Allah Almighty says: My love becomes established for those who befriend each other for My sake. Likewise, My love is also established for those who cooperate with each other for My sake. And if any believing man or woman sends ahead three children from their own loins who have not reached puberty, Allah Almighty will, by His grace and mercy, admit them into Paradise."
