Hadith 350
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمُؤَدِّبُ الْبَصْرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ حَسَّابٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُصْعَبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَقْبَلَ عَلَى النَّاسِ ، فَقَالَ : " يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ ، مَنْ أُصِيبَ مِنْكُمْ بِمُصِيبَةٍ مِنْ بَعْدِي فَلْيَتَعَزَّ بِمُصِيبَتِهِ بِي عَنْ مُصِيبَتِهِ الَّتِي تُصِيبُهُ ، فَإِنَّهُ لَنْ يُصَابَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي بَعْدِي بِمِثْلِ مُصِيبَتِهِ بِي "، لا يُرْوَى عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، إِلا بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) turned to the people and said: "O people! Whoever among you is afflicted with a calamity after me, let him console himself with my calamity, for no calamity has befallen anyone in my Ummah greater than the calamity that befell me."
