Hadith 347
Sayyiduna Bara’ bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “It is said to the disbeliever: Who is your Lord? He says: I do not know. Then at that moment he becomes mute, deaf, and blind. Then he is struck with such a hammer that if it were to be struck on a mountain, it would turn to dust. Everyone hears it except humans and jinn.” Sayyiduna Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recite: ﴿يُثَبِّتُ اللّٰهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِالْقَوْلِ الثَّابِتِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ وَيُضِلُّ اللّٰهُ الظَّالِمِينَ﴾ (Ibrahim: 27) “Allah keeps firm those who believe, with the firm word, in worldly life and in the Hereafter. And Allah leads astray the wrongdoers.”
