The virtue of supplications after Fajr prayer
Hadith 327
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ مُجَاهِدٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُنْذِرُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْجَارُودِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُحَادَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عُتَيْبَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ جَدِّي رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : "مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يُصَلِّي صَلاةَ الصُّبْحِ ، ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ يَذْكُرُ اللَّهَ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ إِلا كَانَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ حِجَابًا مِنَ النَّارِ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُحَادَةَ ، إِلا الْحَسَنُ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ الْمُنْذِرُ ، وَلا يُرْوَى عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، إِلا بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ
Sayyiduna Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: I heard from my grandfather, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was saying: "Whoever performs the morning prayer and then sits remembering Allah until the sun rises, this action of his will become a barrier for him from the Hellfire."
