Hadith 299
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَرْمَلَةَ الْقَلْزُمِيُّ بِمَدِينَةِ قَلْزُمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى الأُبُلِّيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ هَاشِمٍ الْبَيْرُوتِي ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "لا يَقْبَلُ اللَّهُ مِنَ امْرَأَةٍ صَلاةً حَتَّى تُوَارِي زِينَتَهَا ، وَلا مِنْ جَارِيَةٍ بَلَغَتِ الْمَحِيضَ حَتَّى تَخْتَمِرَ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، إِلا عَمْرُو بْنُ هَاشِمٍ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ
Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty does not accept the prayer of any woman until she covers her adornment, nor does He accept the prayer of any mature girl until she puts on a veil."
